This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home situated on East Bay accommodates modern waterside living, while uniquely integrating antique architectural elements. This storied home had undergone previous remodels and the floor plan had to be entirely reworked to accommodate the open living space the clients desired. Historically the home was a fishing shanty that had a steel frame, upper level addition constructed over it. Collaborating with the architect, builders and homeowners, we were able to regenerate a living space that flows more openly and is in-keeping with the waterside lifestyle. The homeowners love the natural beauty of wood integrated with colors inspired by family heirlooms and connections to Frank Lloyd Wright. The home showcases a color palette of emerald greens, pale gold and natural hues with the mahogany casework of vintage Spanish columns, furniture, artwork and lighting.
